Funny how he says that. In another thread he justifies drinking cows milk but doesn't understand the procedure or the harm the dairy industry is doing. But he lovesanimals of course.

There are some people obsessed with animals/pets.
On the radios and tv pet you see/hear commercials equal or more than commercials for raising kids/babies.
(pet food, animal health, shows for animal advice, animal rights, etc).

And some people think its easier to have a pet, so they may have less kids.
From bigger populated areas id bet people with more pets have less children on average.

looks like in the US they have more percentage for cats and dogs than Europe or other Anglo countries.

If the dolphins became intelligent before humans, they would be looking down on us and hunting us. It is just how it is, we happened to have evolved more than other species and became superior. The dolphins are actually not far behind bonobos and chimpanzees in terms of intelligence.

The dolphins would have no mercy to us, if they could dominate us.

It's not just a Western phenomenon, it's a lonely phenomenon.

I and many friends/family I know are also guilty of this. I know many people with very pampered pooches. My sister and her boyfriend have a little poodle who has it's own wardrobe and they have an instagram account for the dog with over 3000 followers. Then theres my grandma who is practically lives her life to please her dog, the dog has become accustomed to barking at her when she sits on a chair he wants to be in, it's insane. I also have a friend who owns a dog that has separation anxiety, the owner refuses to leave the dog alone and insists on getting a dog sitter, even if the dog is only left alone for a couple hours.

I want a dog myself, but I am not planning on pampering it so much.

The Bible is a man written book, with all due respect. It speaks nothing of evolution which is a fact.

Humans aren't physically superior. Each species have adopted to their environments. A gorilla will always be physically superior to a human for example despite a human being more intelligent but are we really that intelligent when you look at the things we do?

To this very day we believe in man made gods and man made written books that speak of supposed prophets. We used to sacrifice other humans, hunt witches , we believed a lot of dumb shit.

Humans had to develope tools for their environment in order to survive. And therefore more intelligent in that way. This does not make us superior or more worth.

It does not mean other animals have less feelings or compassion which is what I base equality on. Other animals have feelings and families too and their life is equally worth.

I don't base equality on physical abilities but the fact they have feelings and families and as much of a right to live. A salamander can regrow its body parts. Most humans really can't, only few genius scientists have figured it out. This makes the salamander superior if we go by that logic.

We humans are actually destroying our own planet and we are easily brainwashed.

We have even genocided eachother for thousands of years. Think of all the wars and empires.

Think of all the things humans have done and are doing and ask yourself if we really are that intelligent? We might be able to think and solve problems and develope things but with it seems to also come a lot of ignorance and stupidity, abuse and various other mental health problems.

Humans might have the brain capacity that seems to come with a,lot of side effects but an eagle can fly in the sky and has a better eye sight.

Each species have adapted to their environments. Equality shouldn't be based on that as they all have their advantages.
