In case anyone is interested in genetic variation in Argentina, i made a compilation with every Argentine study i could find with a barplot (ancestry ranges). All are ordered from most euro to least euro or from least amerindian to most amerindian. In all the barplots euro is blue. The way to read it is that first person in the left is the most euro and last person in the right is the most amerindian. I dont think its perfect but it gives an idea.
the new charts with amerindian in pink (entre rios , corrientes, mendoza, san juan, la rioja, jujuy, salta) are pretty interesting since some used small colonial villages like for example curuzu cuatia used for corrientes sample.
I included population of each region tested so you can understand importance of each province. Also a map with population density.
Edit:I couldnt find a barplot for Province of Santa Fe, the third most populated province, but accoriding to genetic studies it is similar to buenos aires, just a little more euro (around 80%)
Take into consideration that Pampa/buenos aires/cordoba barplots ( 2,3,4 most euro ones) would be representative for around 65% of the country population and jujuy/salta barplots (9,10,11 least euro) would be representative for 5% of the country population. The amount of barplots is not proportional to importance in the argentine population.
