All these things here are ridiculously exagerated and have to be questioned.

The only realy interesting question is about the South Italian subclade of R1a if it is one of those clades that exist in Slavic people or a
    distinct one

Here is a Syracusan. Some of them come up like "West Med" shifted Sicilians which means that it might be due to their Mycenaean ancestry, or ancient Italic, rather than a more recent Greek origin. Either way, the Near Eastern is lower.

Norman input. In Italy, only NE Italians have significantly high NE European input, which might be due to Slavic ancestry.

I doubt that Norman input was high in SE Sicily

As for Apulian i remember yes there was such influence and then in the Western parts of Sicily i think where it is blurred or difficult because in these parts also
    the Levantine input was more
The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

Besides, there are no recorded migrations of Slavs in Italy except some small Croatian and Bulgarian communities in some parts that I can’t remember now
exactly , it's basically a pre existing element rather than "slavic" as we know them . Slavic people were technically not already "slavic " in the modern sense.
only a very small percentage of that input is from less than 2000 years ago. majority is ancient

Sarno et al said that Apulia and Trapani have elevated affinity to Eastern Europe.

Does this mean that there is, technically, Slavic ancestry in these people?

When you see Sicilians coming up as halfway between the Sicilian average and Thessalian Greeks, does this mean there is Slavic ancestry, brought indirectly from mainland Greeks who had come to Sicily already mixed with Slavic people?
It's not Slavic, at least in my case (north Apulia) it seems much more attributable to MBA Helladic Logkas, Yamnaya and Sintashta than to anything else, it is simple proto-Indo-European DNA that could honestly have been brought by anyone, i sincerely favor the Dorians hypothesis
