The average Northern-European is a mix between borealized Cro-Magnon(Baltid, Borreby, how ever you name it) and Nordid, overall it makes the individuals more attractive than pure anthropological types.

I find it intriguing that you picked a Russian to show the lack of cheekbones. There are a lots of them here and I have to say that some Russian women are too heavily mongoloid(Tatar/Mongol influence) for my taste.

I like prominent cheekbones on women, it makes them look more feminine. In overall I prefer paedomorphic types over progressive. Lite mongoloidness can be a turn-on for me too. Progressive types like Carmen Kaas doesn't really attract me.

Personally I prefer progressive to paedomorphic. I find high cheekbones attractive, but only when they occur in conjunction with other facial features, like a clearly defined jaw and a positive chin - the typical look of the Cro-Magnid/Nordid mix.

High cheekbones look good on men too in my opinion.

I agree with you. I also prefer borealized Cro-Magnons/Baltids/Borrebys over Estonian Nordids like Carmen Kass.

It depends on a head shape. I think women tend to prefer progressive types, stocky cro-magnids come second.

Depend on face, sometimes they can look amazing and sometimes face looks too robust. I notice that lot of models today have that high angular cheekbones... It became standard of beauty i think.

I was told to have high cheekbones before, but they are not really high like this people have and looks much different than people on those pics have, simply that area looks more prominent cause of much fat there on bones and looks somehow round and not angular i think, while at faces of those people you can see clearly high posited bones and skin without any fat.

Pronunced Cheekbones are quite common in Norway also.
