Don’t call them Anatolians. Call them by their tribal names i.e Pontians, Ionians, Thracians etc. Calling them Anatolians Is like calling all the peoples and different tribes of the Balkans, Balkanites, whether they are Serbs, Albanians, Romanians, gypsies, Bulgarians or Greeks.

Bosniensis doesn't need help... you do. You can't swallow the fact that majority of Anatolians converted to Islam, in that
matter you remind me on Bori who keep repeating that Anatolians are Altaic people.

Ottomans are mix of Turkish and Anatolian people who are predominantly Greeks and Armenians aka Romans. If you don't like it join the ignorance or visit psychiatry
You should specify which Anatolians. The non Greek peoples of Anatolia had already converted to Islam even before the arrival of Turks.

If you research a bit Herodotus, Apollodorus and Pausanius it will become obvious to you that the majority of Turks are descended from the Mongols and the Cappadocian Syrians and Iranian tribes of Eastern Anatolia. (place of Turkish ethnogenesis)

This explains why they became Muslims and wrote in Arabic script and were allies of the Arabs before the Ottomans, whereas the Greeks and other races of Anatolia became Christians and were allied to the Greeks and Byzantines or were Greeks themselves including the Paphlagonians, Armenians and Assyrians.

The races who were allied to the Persians (Iranians) including the Medes whose descendents are the Kurds also became Muslims. The Lebanese and Cypriot Maronite Christians are the descendants of the Phoenicians who were a Greek colony like the Cilixians. Whereas the Muslims from Lebanon are Syrian Cannanites who are no relation to the Phoenicians but migrated to Lebanon from the Red Sea in 1200 BC. The people of Hatay were the last of the Assyrians and become Christians as allies of the Greeks. The Turks effectively exterminated the Greek presence in Anatolia.

Where did i use the word Anatolian alone in the post you quoted?

I said Anatolian Greeks and explained to whom they are most similar.

Though personaly i prefer the term Asia Minor Greeks i use Anatolian Greek only because its used all the time in this forum
The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

It is best to call them by their tribal names, i.e Ionian, Pontian etc
