Default 23andme makes FoodRanger believe he has Greek genes, pays him travel to Athens to try 'Greek' foods

I laughed upon seeing this video. 23andme started to sponsor Trevor's food travels. Trevor is Canadian and obviously British descent. 23andme sent him a kit and told him obviously that they will sponsor his travels wherever he got dna from. He gets 23% Balkan. He also sees some West African. Low.

He starts by going to Greece to try 'awesome Greek street food'.

Then even more interesting, the guy arrives in Athens and supposedly starts trying 'Greek food'...

Watching 2 more minutes, Trevor tries pide (sort of Turkish pizza) with minced meat.
    Surprise Surprise.

The Greek name for the food is ''Keema Peinirli''. Hell that's all Turkish.
Keema is from Turkish word. Kıyma (minced meat) comes from Turkish verb Kıymak (to hack/spall).
Peinirli is the name these Greeks gives for Pide.
Peynir is Turkish word meaning cheese with suffix -li (meaning with). Peynirli : With cheese, Cheesy.

Then he eats wrapped intestine kebab called Kokorets. That's in reality Albanian.

Neither the genes are Greeks, nor the food he eats in fact

I mean if it says 28% Balkan he must have an ancestor from there.

    1) If he has 23% Balkan, he certainly has Balkan ancestry.
    2) So what if Kimas is a Turkish word?Minced meat is used around the world.
Do we stole watermelon from Turkey , too, because we call it Karpouzi?
Peynir with the Greek peynirli has nothing in common other than the word.
Its like Yuveci. I read some rant of a Turk some years ago about ''oh Greeks took Yuveci from us , blablabla'' and what we call as Yuveci and what they call as Yuvetsi was like night and day
    3) Why so mad about Greeks dude?

Here is an image of the first models of taxi, which were invented in western Europe.

Later, Turks would shamelessly steal taxis from western Europeans and call them Taksi.

    thief Turks.

    Bori obsession with Greeks continues.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

Lol I remember a Turkish guy claiming that Greek cuisine was "Turkish influenced", till we searched together and nearly every one of the supposed "Turkish dishes" were common in every Mediterranean country in Europe, but never in central Asia, meanwhile the non-overlaping part of Turkish cuisine with Greek, 90% I would say, , is identical to Arabic

First of all which Greek in the video says that peinirly is Greek? It arrived in Greece later than pizza, to be served as fast-food, the way pizza did

As for "Albanian kokorets", if you had an iq higher than 90 you would be able to know that rapped intestine is common in many parts of Europe, see Greek gardoumpakia or Italian torcinelli and no source supports the idea that it's Albanian, except for the case that you can give us your source

90% of Turkish cuisine overlaps Arabic, and a 10% overlaps Greek and other south European, and it makes sense, as countries in the same geographical parallel produce the same ingredients. Otherwise there would be further overlap along with cuisine, that doesn't exist today

One thing I have to admit that you and the rest of turks are right, is that during the last 20-50 years we try to present this 90% as Greek (wtf) meanwhile we didn't even know the existence of these dishes before, and I can't understand the reason. Greek fast-food shops today serve kebab, hamburger, pizza etc

There are more Greek chefs outside of Greece than inside.
