In the 90s novelas used to mock Catholics there are several scandals, but I like to mention this one:
1996
They put Taís Araújo in the opening intro of xica silva as a black saint and in the lyrics they mock Catholics and their false purity. I read that the Brazilian Catholics were enraged by this.




Later they had to change the intro into this one

Without the traditions Catholicism teaches there's nothing left but Protestantism and we all know what it did in Northwestern Europe; it produced numerous atheists because of it being so extremely sober and shallow without any benefits for the soul except perhaps praying, no one wants to follow it anymore. The only form of Christianity that's booming is Evangelism as it uses modern psychology, propaganda and marketing techniques to win new souls.
