Yes. Conrad. There are two of them. One of them is my great-great grandfather, the other one is my great-great-great-great grandfather, and the last direct paternal ancestor I could trace.

(He's also the earliest person with the haplogroup I-L22 I know of)

Mario, Carlos, Sergio, Pedro and Hugo were very repeated in my paternal line among males but just letting a generation in the middle, not having dads and sons the same name.
Even though my name is not any of those.

It is something that I very strongly associate with Anglo-Saxon people, your penchant to name your son with your own name or that of his grandpa. Richard Sr, Richard Jr etc.

Also those stupid quasi-names like SJ, RJ etc. for USA.

Just one time. I have the name of my maternal grandpa, this side my male ancestors have just two names: mine and the name of my uncle.

Yes, on my paternal side my father, grandfather, and Great x2 Grandfather was William. On my maternal side my uncle, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Great x3 Grandfather was Charles.
