Can understand almost everything in this video:

It sounds like Sicilian with a French accent.

    Written Corsican 90-95%

Spoken, a bit less because many people have French accent, if spoken slowly I understand almost everything, without French accent it's perfectly understandable.

but i think it's more mainland and genoese/tuscan influenced than proper sardinian.

still i understand about 20 percent
It's not exactly influenced by Sardinian, but both languages share a common vocabulary not present in Italian, because in both island it was spoken the same Vulgar Latin Insular dialect, which eventually evolved into Corsican and Sardinian, but still the two languages have many things in common even if they took two different evolutive directions.

Many words and expressions can be found both in Sardinian or in Italian, but slightly different or are expressions present in archaic Italian, but no more used nowadays.

Let's take for example this song :

In the song we can find the expression "aiň" (come on, let's go), that Italians consider a stereotypical Sardinian expression, instead it's present also in Corsican language.

Text : (beside I added a literal Italian translation, so you can see the differences)

    Spoiler!

Sardinian under many aspect is more archaic than Corsican :

    Spoiler!

Comunque sembra un'accozzaglia di vari dialetti italiani con un suono che si avvicina perň ai dialetti del sud, specialmente campani.

Non ha niente di sardo nel suono.
