the Mexican basketball team has a good number of indomestizos who are very tall and they are actually the tallest in the teams
also there are tribes in Mexico particularly in the north where they range between 5'7-6'3" (males) depending on the tribe, while females 5'2-58" which again depending on the tribe, the tallest North Mexican amerindians and the tallest in Latin America are the Seri people which they are the ones who range between 5'8-6'3" tall (not to mention there were many descriptions of this tribe by the Spaniards describing them as giants and their tallest Spanish male only reaching their chest area)

the shortest Amerindians in Mexico are Mayans who happen to be Istmid, but at the same time, they are taller than any native in South America, the Mayan from Mexico is 5'3" tall, while the one from Guatemala is only 5'0" tall. Tallest Amerindian in South America are the Incas but they are only 5'2"


I dont think Tainos were tall, they were from South America, they were Brazilids and Brazilids happen to be the shortest Amerindians in Latin America, they are on average only 4'11"



also in California, there are many indo-mestizo Mexicans who are between 5'9-6'3"

Its basketball so being taller is an advantage. So they would pick their members to be taller over some short guy thats like 5'3. That short 5'3 almost has no hope unless hes a prodigy in basketball where arm length and height matters.

Mexican indigenous females range is not definitely starting from 5-2. Ive seen often enough ones that were like 5 feet or maybe even smaller.

and majority of the mexicans in NY are from the indigenous region of Mixtec, majority of them are over 70% Amerindian, which again, proves my point

Possibly but most colombians ive seen are predominatly european looking. I havnt seen so many of them because most live in queens but all of them ive seen were european leaning except for some couple my dad was friends with. They were more trigueno tri racial like.

I highly doubt mexicans in new york only come from one place in mexico where its a rarity they are tall and that many are short. I would think they come from varoous places in mexico and some from other US states as well.

They are southern mexicans. Most southern mexicans are indo mestizos while according to some mexican posters northerners are like 70 percent european blood.
