A no brainer. If the white would have won the Russian Civil War we probably would've had better relations with Russia today and Russia would even be more developed than it is today.

There's that 'size aspect' to it indeed.

But currently the EU has a population of 508 million (minus 65.64 million with Brexit) and Russia one of 144.3 million. However, Russia being so large in territory, resources and population would probably be a dominant force with a powerful voice in it.
