You were taught about Jesus, as were Europeans. He is unnatural. He is a leader of the pacifists. The only reason Christians ever fought for themselves, like during the Crusades for example, is because the Catholic Church was a military power. Christianity teaches people to become cattle, awaiting slaughter.
You are very deceived. Did you know, people who have had no contact with any Christians have even received visions of Jesus, for example buddhists in Asia who then accepted Jesus afterwards. In fact, it is currently happening a LOT in the Muslim world... people supernaturally getting to know Jesus and the Gospel.

You are thinking very temporarily... our earthly life is but a drop in the bucket of eternity... I would rather get slaughtered in this world, and saved in the next -- eternity, than the other way around.

They don't. The story that matters is all about Jesus.

Hundreds thousands people were killed everywhere in North-europe because they were suspected ( a suspect was enough.. with out any trial ) of practicing black magic..and the Church was not involved.. The Church established the ecclesiastic tribunal in order to limit the death's sentence issued by the people of the village against the suspects.. witches.. Giordano Bruno.. ect ect..

He was not a martyr for science, he was instead, as English astrophysicist John Gribbin called him, a martyr for magic and the occult. He actually was a heretic, and was even worse "a walking billboard for the Inquisition" and refused to recant his arianism/hermetism, though given the better part of a decade to try and take back some of his weirder nonsense. Getting burned at the stake was nothing extraordinary in 1600 AD, especially for a guy who had gone out of his way to insist his beliefs were not an alternative theological hypothesis but that they were facts that the Catholic Church and Protestants needed to recognize.

What exactly makes you think I think temporarily? When did I say that I was an Athiest? I believe in spirituality, but I refuse to pretend I know all the answers, and I refuse to believe a Religion that I am only familiar with due to crossing paths with another human being. If something is so true and obvious, why does it need to be taught by man?

Math can be learned in nature. You can count your fingers, you can count how may apples you picked. You can also learn how to wipe your ass in nature, how to brush your hair. There are plenty of examples of children teaching themselves thing. You are making a stupid comparison, try to attribute Christianity to everything that is good in Europe.

And the Catholic Church established the ecclesiastic tribunal in order to limit/stop the death sentences based on the simple suspects issued by anyone of the village...
