UK: There are many magnificent places, Berkshire, Hampshire, Wilts, Oxon etc... come to mind, but really any place away from "multiculti" is heavenly.

Brazil: São Paulo and the three southern states.

Spain: Again, great country all over, but Costa Blanca, Alicante comes to mind as possibly my favourite, followed by Asturias and Madrid.

Bloomberg.com says its the 12th richest place in the USA.

Man, the views of the Little Miami Valley are absolutely incredibly there.
Very interesting. Los Altos Hills and Atherton are still the two richest places in the United States. I have a family member from Ohio but he moved to California during the dot com boom ('00), 'cause of a job offer from Oracle.

California in general is just crazy expensive.

California exodus gathers strength, as home prices continue upward march

Those migration patterns are shaped by socioeconomics. Most people leaving the state earn less than $30,000 per year, even as those who can afford higher housing costs are still arriving. As the report noted, California was also a net importer of highly skilled professionals from the information, professional and technical services industries, as well as in arts and entertainment. On the other hand, California saw the largest exodus of workers in accommodation, construction, manufacturing and retail industries.

Tasmania, I am biased but I like it's remote seclusion and being an Island is nice. The weather there is much cooler than the rest of Australia which is great and on average it is much greener. Only negative is I heard they can get freezing winds from Antarctica.

Slavonia. It may not be the best (ruined by war, now poor-used to be richest in the past, depopulated), but I love the plain and it's people, their music, their joy of life, foods and traditions. In my opinion Slavonian Croats are best Croats.

    It's difficult for Italy

economically the better of region is the Milan Area

For Quality of life i'm sure Veneto beats every other one

Personally i'd happily live in a small rural village somewhere in Central Italy (less alien to me than other places)
