I saw the other day History Channel's "Barbarians Rising" where they portrayed Hannibal as being you standard West African







Any reliable evidence to support this or the History Channel is just throwing the "We wuz Carthage" card?

Obviously he wasn't. Being Carthaginian he would of been somewhere between an ancient Levantine (Phoenician) and North African (Berber), both of which are caucasoid populations (though Roman Age North Africans would of had significant ancestry from the archaic Iberomaurusian people who aren't really SSA like but very distinct from all ancient and modern West Eurasians).

It's because the documentaries on the History channel arent motivated by historical veracity but other things. I formerly assumed, simply ratings and advertising revenue. However with time, I've come to realize television more than anything, is a tool for social engineering and narrative ceation. For some reason, but the academic and entertainment industry has had a clearcut agenda to curb what I coul only call "Hamitic" society (using it as a linguistic-geographic term).

a pure Berber for eg..."Jugurtha" was more cunning and influential than Hannibal. You can say, Jugurtha was the George Soros of his time.

In Arabia, the history just prior to the blossoming of Islam...was dominated by Ethiopia.
