The Swedes could feel that the firefighters came straight from the Middle East - those trucks beeps
why was that needed? Hussar's fantasy?

There were more than 40 -50 Finnish firemen (voluntaries) with cars and other stuff. Drove to Sweden via north (Tornio -> Haaparanda) ... 1200km one direction.
Local people had put roses in their cars doors

Italy, France and Portugal sent water-bombing aircrafts to aid Sweden which carries way higher costs than sending one hundred emergency personnel and it is a lot more effective in ceasing fires.

You have to do better than that ...
Meaning...Finland HAD forest fires too at July .... but Finns handled those by themselves! Still that's the reason why Finland could't offer more help to Sweden.
There are clear reasons why forest fires have exactly been harder in Sweden versus Finland ... even if the weather and the forests are very similar. And those really have nothing to do with luck (Finns case) ...

And it starts to be quite common that there are forest fires in Russia every hotter summer (closely to Finland's border)...and Finns have always helped Russians if they have asked that. Same now 2018 (Lappland in Salla).

So ... nope. Finns do not look need to look anybody up! Finns are small tough nation, one which gets things done.
