Is the KKK really that liberal?

I know most people say KKK= Democrats , so therfor it's liberal! But looking at some of what they believe, it doesn't really sound all that liberal. They were always strong anti-communists ,for example. They certainly wouldn't be marching with Antifa. They didn't like socialism very much, either. So not really in line with Nazis. They don't like Jews, Negroes, Muslims, Catholics, or anyone who isn't Christian. They call themselves a Christian organization.. Whether or not that is true. It just doesn't fit with most liberal politics. I guess the reason they are more associated with liberals is because they had a tendency towards violence.

This idea stems from the fact democracts were the party of the southern slave owners in the past and the KKK as a result especially that it was supported by Wilson a democrat president . The KKK was orignally just a random milita that fought the northen troops occuping the south after the civil war but after the film 'The birth of a nation" the organization was reborn with a more anti black tone . Not that it didn't exist in the first one but it wasn't a main point of their ideology .

I disagree , Hitler had a different defintion of socialsim and thought he needed to "retake" the word from the communists who "hijacked" it . Stalin was a communist but not a liberal at all , liberal means seeking more rights to the invidual and weakning the group's control over him . Hitler and Stalin are not liberals , Washignton was certainly a classical liberal in his view of nearly "extreme freedom" like most of the founding fathers while Roberspierrre's reign of terror was to purge opposition in order to establish a "liberal society" .

I would qualify them as initially "reactionary", because they would be fighting the reforms enacted by the Republican North, such as the abolition of slavery.

Later one, they would become alternately more conservative or more liberal, depending on the political climate in the US.

LoL, I know Indians (the dot kind not feather) who live in Tennessee, they run a chain of motels near Pulaski , in outskirts of Nashville, and have had Klan members stay at their motels during their annual rallies.

None of them ever caused any trouble, and were very all very respectful and courteous.
