Chineses is how GiCa calls them in her superior form of English. She usually does it while objectifying Chinese men.

I've heard that the term Oriental is also considered offensive nowadays. I agree though that its a much better term than 'Asian'.

The only people who are offended by such things are brown people, and white people who drink Soy Milk.

Chinaman is not a widely used term so people would just take it as an unusual offensive term since they are not used to hearing that I guess.

I think chinese or at most asian would suffice in order to refer to a chinese individual. Other than in UK, asian indicates chinese/japanese/korean in rest of the world anyways.

In my opinion Chinaman is a slightly pejorative word for Chinese which can be used as insult, banter or in poetry. Context is the most important. A confident person sees this context.

Anyway, to me Chinaman also sounds pejorative, but given the right informal context and history with a Chinese person I still use it. Taiji himself uses it even. Context of course.
Oriental is only mildly derogatory. And can't you guess why? It's Eurocentric. Only a person who hasn't been sufficiently globalized and deracialized would see Asia as being to the east. Anyway, this one hasn't fully died out yet.

Makes no sense, men from China are Chinamen, simple as that.
