What are some of your favorite and least favorite eras of historical European fashion?

I'll start.

Favorites:

17th Century

The long hair and lace look, has a sophisticated aura about it:







Early Medieval Celtic and Germanic

Cloak, brooch, tunic, leggings...perhaps the most authentic native Celto-Germanic style (first example is Anglo-Saxon, second is Celtic..particularly pay attention to the man on the far left.)





Renaissance

Beards and coats with big shoulders:
