Poland has many unmarried couples, but very few single parents compared to other countries. In the USA it is the opposite case - 30% single parent households and only 4% unmarried couples:

Hmm... It seems to me that Poland and the Netherlands don't seem to be so different when it comes to the degeneration of the family unit. I used to think that Poland was this ubercatholic country ? But, I guess, the commies were quick to kill off the old virtues there as well.

America doesn't, particularly, shock me: in black families, 75% to 80% is illegitimate. I wish I was joking but I'm not (you find the same pattern with Caribbeans here btw). I am not sure about the rates for white or Latino Americans but for black Americans, the figures are appalling and have been appalling for some 50 odd years.
