My mother's side came on the Mayflower ~ 1620 and other English ships in 1631. Their roots are in Massachusetts, New Jersey and upstate New York. They fought for the Patriots in the Revolutionary War.

My father's side is from 19th century Laois (formerly Queen's County) Ulster Ireland, Galway in Connacht Ireland, and Elsass (then Germany).

By this, I mean, what % of your biological ancestry comes from people who lived in America in 1776?
