I am from Rijeka and live in Budapest and Rijeka has Slightly higher wages, Zagreb visibly higher.

But Living standard is better in Hungary than Croatia. Consumer goods are much cheaper, even half price than in Croatia, Food especially, and there is very low unemployment with dynamic job Market .

Slovenia is by far richest, but Slovenia is very expensive as well.

I am really satisfisfied with life in Hungary, I must say. Sadly Croatia is worse at the moment.

Slovenia wasn't particularly expensive but oh well. I think the prices were on par with Greece. Not sure about rent though.
