Sonic always was weird, even at the height of his popularity. Mario always was the better franchise liked by normal people.

No idea why it draws autistics to be honest.

i have some autistic caractheristics( i think) and i also liked him a lot when i was a children, i liked to watch his VHS very much, good times

I always liked Mario better but will admit during the Dreamcast era when I was an adolescent I liked both Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, though interestingly I never liked Sonic himself, always dug Knuckles and Tails more. This tune still brings happy memories:

Makes me want to snug up under a weighted blanket for some reason.

I don't know, Sonic was always my least favourite game when I was a kid. There were so many better games like some Mario games, heck even the old Crash Bandicoot game was better.
