Yeah and whether one lives in a slum or not you will still be considered free and have your personal freedom. It generally beats staying in prison where you're forever locked up for life, unless of course it's one of those first world class of prisons like in America or Scandinavia for example.

Slums get destroyed, you cant make permanent shelters in public lands. Thats why our poor live on the streets.
