Why?

Most of Serbs have negative opinion of me for example. Why would they have positive opinion of Mehmed Paša Sokolović?

He did restored Pećka Patriaršija, but he fought and murdered many Orthodox people in Wars, he was muslim after all not orthodox.

If Orthodoxes actually liked people like Mehmed Paša Sokolovic, 1850 - 1995 massacres would not occur.

Serbs keep saying: Serbs were never muslims and deny Serbian Islamic heritage.

I know very well what I'm talking about. For most of Serbs Mehmed paša Sokolović is the greatest muslim Serb ever. Serbs have a negative opinion of some other muslim Serbs such as Omer paša Latas and Dahije, because they were enemies of Orthodox Serbs. Positive opinion among Serbs is also about muslim Serbs such as Sulejman Spaho, Osman Đikić, Meša Selimović, Muhamed Mehmedbašić...
In the Serbian historiography Mehmed paša Sokolović is not forgotten.

In the video is mentioned similarity in physiognimy between them

We will never know for sure what Sokolovic believed in and what was his real intentions. Save his actions benefited greatly the Serbian identity.

Another lesson to take it's that when an empire's core builder is weakened and the devshirme appears, the system falls apart.

Rome fell in a similar way, after hiring Germanic barbarians. Ottomans fell after hiring Balkanian Orthodox kids.

Guy from Mostar (Herzegovina) is R1b-U152, and other guy is I2a1b.

Mehmed paša Sokolović was probably I2a1b.

Well, Mehmed Paša Sokolović probably had muslim part of family in Bosnia, cousins etc.. who accepted Islam.

His family is like mine, he had Orthodox and Muslim part of the family.

Many of sources say that he was pretty loyal to Sultan and also the whole Empire, still i don’t have enough knowledge about him so i can’t say anything.
