Default Should the Legal Voting Aged be Raised to 25 ?

Why 25? Because according to scientists, that is when the judgement part of the brain becomes fully developed. So that in a sense, we begin adulthood at age 25. Yes, many people under age 25 may act (and look) like us adults, but they don't have life experience, and overall they are 10x more likely to use poor judgement. This is another reason why U.S. car insurance rates go down for males after age 25. The rate of car accidents between 16-24 is significantly higher.

And, if you go back to our Founding Fathers, to vote you had to be "free, white, male and 21 or over". Even they believed you had to be at least 21 years of age, in an Era when people matured much faster. If we raised the voting age to 25, we may have avoided 2 terms of Barack Obama.

You'd be 25 before you know it.

What about the argument that some people are already set in their ideologies by the time they are 25. At 18 it could be subject to change as they got older and as their vote changed?

I don't think it makes a difference. Ignorant at 18, ignorant at 25, it's all the same.

The only thing that will save us is moving to a monarchal system.

Possibly. I think at least 21 would be better, though.
