Default Can you generally tell English and German people apart?

I can very easily tell when someone is English as opposed to German, but I know some people find these groups difficult to distinguish.

Depends upon which Englishman you speak of.

I've noticed that the English have a greater tendency to be tall and skinny, whereas the Germans tend to have more meat on their bones.

I think that people from East Anglia (Norfolk, mostly) have something more Germanic looking about them than other English do.

I loved how you just basically called the Germans 'fat' and got a 'thanks' for it.
I'd say the English are tall and skinny because of the overwhelming atlantid input.
