English? (I think she could pass as German too, but there's something distinct that she has that I usually associate with the English)

Southern Germans look very different on average than Northern Germans.
Welsh look very different on average than Eastern English.
North and South English I cannot tell a difference. This is most probably because the major genetic variation in the Isles is a split between east(germanic immigration) and west(spanish immigration).
If I was given a picture of an average English man and an average Southern German man I would be able to tell a difference. Here in America many of our Germans are from the south and I can EASILY spot the difference between say for example the English in my area and the Southern Germans in Iowa.
Here are average faces....

I thought the first one could just as likely be German, but I choose English instead based on the mouth. Something I've noticed that is pretty consistent is that English people (and Brits in general) have smaller, tighter mouths, while many Germans have larger, wider mouths. There's also another look I associate with the English and I don't really know how to explain it any other way than calling it "beaky". It's probably some Keltic-Nordid thing or something, but I rarely see it in other Europeans.
The Eurodance/crap group Cascada is always referred to as a "German" group by the media, but the second I saw the singer I knew she couldn't be German without even knowing her name. She has such a stereotypical English look to me and when I looked her up it turns out she was born in Germany to English parents
