why is it weird? we look mostly like İranians for obvious reasons, but have strong overlap with other closely related peoples as well such as kurds and anatolian türks

For sure. Baku is the largest and probably most developed city in the entire south caucasus. It has many tourist attractions, and its old city center includes numerous historic constructions, sights and buildings, such as those related to the Shirvanshahs.
