Some of them are albanized and some are bosniakized, but majority recognized themselves as Gorani as separate nation.

In Belgrade there is a more Gorani than in Gora.
Serbs often confused them for Albanians, because their surnames have Albanian muslim form such as: Sulejmani, Ismaili, Mehmeti, Jakupi, Ibrahimi...
