'Greensleeves' is a traditional and popular English folk song that's been sung by many artists. It was the favourite song of Tudor King Henry VIII.



I come from a musical family on both sides. One of my sister's used to do bell-ringing in front of audiences in the Winter Gardens of Dorset, and she also plays the piano. I learned to play both Irish tin whistle and piano from an early age by attending private music lessons after school with my school friends, and I also learnt to play keyboards and synths as a teenager. My other sister plays classic guitar and the clarinet. My maternal grandmother played the piano. My maternal cousin plays bass guitar in a folk-metal band and he also plays the saxophone. My paternal cousin used to teach music in a private school, as well as working as a talented composer and pianist who has worked on West End musical theatre productions.
