The U.S.A. had more share of seats in parliament held by women than Russia (at least in 2015). When it comes to gender inequality the U.S. isn't much better than Russia (ranks at number 43).

The Soviet Union introduced full gender equality already in the 1920s, earlier than Japan or India. So it makes sense.

They may have introduced equality during the 1920s on paper but that doesn't mean that it was practiced. Do you really think that the US has less gender equality than Russia. Or that Canada, Australia, or most Western European countries have worse gender equality than Russia?

You think that senior roles is all it takes to measure accurately gender equality? What if Russia has by far the highest percentage of women occupying senior roles but variously earn on average 30% less than men occupying the exact same positions? There are many indicators to measure gender equality.

The United Nations' Human Development Reports states that Russia ranks as number 52 when it comes to the gender inequality index. It is among the top ten worst positions among the nations with Very High Human Development.

It's nonsense. All leadership positions in Russia are held by men. There are only men in the army. Surgeons are men only. successful businessmen are only men. There are successful women - they are very few and they are similar to lesbians with an increased level of testosterone. The level of public confidence in men is much higher than in women.
