Put simply, left-wing pan-Europeanism is more political. The belief is that the EU and related institutions have killed off many of the often violent nationalisms of the past, and in their place Europe's peoples and countries have pooled their sovereignty for the greater good. This is a POV I share to a certain extent, though imo some left-wingers do tend to over-romanticise the EU.
In the meantime, right-wing pan-Europeanism is more racial and cultural. The belief is that Europeans mostly look very similar to each other, have similar cultures and many if not most Europeans can pass in each others' countries, and that the darker/more exotic/more distinctive types prevalent in some countries are usually Gypsies/Jews/Turks/immigrants etc. etc. This type of pan-Europeanism is mostly bollocks to me.
