I presume people will pick Aidan because of his dark hair and brown eyes but they all look very British Isles. What I would like to know is what population outside of Britain and Ireland the Irish are most similar to? Of course Irish have a variety of looks but with Aidan Turner feature wise he is similar to Ronan Keating but different colouring.







So what about how Irish compare to French or Belgians ? Or some other ethnicity? That would make a change.

Populations outside the United Kingdom that are more like the Irish?

I think that from my point of view it would be Iceland, northern France, Belgium and Norway. Talves would also be Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and Spain, but I think that only an Irish minority would happen in those countries and vice versa.
