Different than journalist who has British accent. This sounds British too but little bit different. I might think it is just his personal style of talk.

I think the Australian accent is superior.

I have a question for you. How come more Australian tourists visit Buddhist, non English speaking Thailand more than fellow Christian, English speaking Philippines?
Wouldn't it be easier for Ozzie tourists to visit us? Rather than the other way around? I don't get it.

The Phillipines is not promoted as a tourist destination in the same way Thailand or Bali is, at least in Australia. Thailand has now garnered a huge reputation in Australia so it's considered a popular destination, I know so many people who have travelled to Thailand but not one single person who has been to the Phillipines.
Basically, Thailand knows how to promote itself.

The interviewer sounds really English whereas the interviewed guy sounds more Irish to me (but I guess he could be from some particular area in the US as well).
