I guess, meta ethnicities are more cultural rahter than genetic. For example, Assyrians are said to be Semitic but they are closer to Iranians than they are to Saudis.

Im not sure. But I think assyrians are closest to armenians than anyone else. Christian bound is very important which may explain that. Assyrians would never mix neither iranians or saidis on the other habd.

What I mean is that i think MENA-christians are closer to each other, but sect also differs ofc
