I write my own songs. I'm not sure, but I think being "original" is highly subjective. A lot of people thought the Beetles were original, and they weren't really . Daniel Johnston probably sounds a lot like his influences, just as I do mine. I don't mind not being original. I just like to sing. I admire Daniel Johnston's work. I used to write more outlandish songs like he did, but my heart just wasn't in it. I'm more a performer than a real musician. Also I try to reflect my own personality in every thing I do.

I was never banned from Kroger's , that is false. I did get in trouble for using a poor word choice when describing the employees. I had no idea "uppity" had racial connotations. I lost a lot of gigs because of it, but I was never banned from the store.
