I also noticed that reddit is quite left wing leaning. Nothing wrong with left wing, but it's often also of the SJW variety. Still I post there.

I admit I haven't followed the specifics of the incident here, but I've never thought of this word as having racial connotations. I use it to mean snooty or snobbish. I think Rush Limbaugh got in trouble for using it in reference to Michelle Obama. But I think the word is a perfect fit. Can it have racial undertones in certain instances? Sure, but so can most words. I object to the classification of a word as off-limits, at least for a given group, when the word has a clear, objective meaning completely independent of the subjective meanings given it both by those using it and those hearing it.

A significant majority of Rededit is full of commies and radical liberals. Not Karl Marx? Too bad you are racist!

PC PC PC PC PC PC
It often does carry racist undertones and lead to racist discussions, the glorification of one type, and the putting down of others. Look at some of the post here lol. Exhibit A
^ Hence it no longer being practiced academically.
I don't even know why you would even post about that outside of an anthro forum and expect it to go any other way, no one else follows that stuff. It's been dead and categorized under scientific racism for years. Being left leaning has nothing to do with anything. That stuff won't be entertained on right leaning forums either.
Oh you know it. So much to the point the fans credit them with things they didn't actually do.

Reddit is disgusting. It's a far leftist circlejerk.
I was browsing this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/europe/comm...boris_johnson/
and someone got 70 dislikes for saying he likes Boris Johnson and is pro-Brexit. His comment was "spoilered", that's how reddit works: after your comment gets some dislikes it will be placed under a spoiler and can't be seen like other comments that were'nt disliked.
That's the general attitude on reddit from what I've seen: right-wing opinions almost always get downvoted (and put under a spoiler) or even removed by moderators.

A few weeks ago, I also used to think it is racist, but now I think discussing phenotypes isn't that bad. I'm sometimes curious about how people look and there is nothing wrong with it.
Besides, I appreciate the fact that on this forum there is actual freedom of speech. In the mainstream Internet, everything has to be PC and it's irritating as hell!
