Default Which song sounds better as an anthem?

Both of them are from Austrian period despite the commie markings, it's just idiots that uploaded it that put that shit there.

The first is Salute to Bosnia, an Austro-Hungarian military march composed by Eduard Wagnes and covers pretty well the local cultural traditions and sentiments, a bit like Montenegrin anthem with it's darker tones.

Second one is Hercegovac March, with seemingly imperial Russian influence, with a bit more alternation between darker and uplifting tones while still heavily relying on local musical traditions

Please pick one you like and leave a comment why.

Both somgs are fine, but Hercogovac March sounds better for me.
IMHO Julius Fučík is one of the most underrated Czech composers

I agree with you about Hercegovac, but I'm interested on your take on it as outsiders, why do you prefer it and what do you think of it as an anthem?

For me it is simply the sound and the emotion it illicits.

more majestic, the second one sounds sometimes like Romanian folk music, or at least like composed by Ciprian Porumbescu
