While I may have a preference for my daughter to marry a northern slav, I understand that love knows no boundaries and cannot be confined by such limitations, and likelihood of her marrying someone outside of our ethnicity may be high in today's diverse society. Ultimately, what matters most, is her happiness and the love and respect she receives in a relationship, regardless of her partner's ethnicity. PS I would be okay with her marrying a Macedonian.
