    Default MorleyDNA.com Y-SNP Subclade Predictor

    Hello to everyone.
I have used Chris Morley tool . Not sure what is the difference between Y-SNP and Y-DNA in this tool. Can I asume the result will be my Y-DNA haplogroup?

Is it reliable to get determination using a normal autosomal DNA test? I am not sure if a Y-DNA is an specific DNA test or it is the same genetic test and they just run a tool similar to this Chris Morley´s one?.

How should I read the following results? (it seems there are a lot of missing parts on my autosomal DNA not evaluated)
I got more that 1 results but only one as "more likely"

This is the "more likely" one.

    J2b2
    J2-M241 (J2-Z1827, J2-Z575)

Which one of those is my Y-DNA?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...

If you uploaded Ancestry or MyHeritage raw data, yes it is very reliable.

You should take a Y-DNA test. Prediction can be wrong.

Thanks for the advice. I will do it in the near future since I have portions of chromosomes not evaluated. I guess it is related to some issues on sample handling at the lab.
Not sure that is common though.

What's your ethnic make up? J2b2, especially the L283 clade which is the European clade of J2b2, is most common among Albanians

I am from latin america . I have 17.84% amerindian (not European). What I know for sure is that my paternal heritage is not native american.

Readings sometimes change. My most likely was always R1b and now it's BT (from the same data file). Though they did say BT should be "ignored".
