Yep. I love the blues. My ex boyfriend (a bass guitarist from England who plays in his own rock and metal bands) used to drive me with him to watch him play on-stage in blues jams once or twice each week in venues across London, in addition to taking me along with him to watch him rehearse in studios with his metal band.

I'd meet interesting white and black musicians who would go up on stage and play in the jams... and people who were there each week to listen and watch the blues jams. I introduced my ex to gothic music venues though. He may have kept some of his YT videos of himself in his rock clothing performing at blues jams. I know he's got his rock videos on his channel. I'll email him and ask if he's still doing blues jams cos he often invites me to go and watch his rock band, although I can't be bothered to travel to the other side of LDN and out to Essex, etc.



He still plays each week in rock and metal venues and performed with his band at a football stadium in Germany in the last year. I don't know if he's still playing in blues-jams at the moment, although he's still in his rock band. They're older guys who do cover-versions of classic rock and metal songs.



Dave Gahan (from the Essex/London dark electro/gothic band Depeche Mode) singing the blues with much soul n' passion, and playin' the mouth organ (harmonica) for a large audience.



I love the blues, blues-rock, classic rock, folk rock, classical, symphonic metal, gothic metal, bm, celtic rock, etc.

My favourite blues-rock band are The Doors.

We like jazz too. Jazz is known as 'intellectual music' and it's very popular in France. I like jazz sometimes too. It's nice and relaxing hearing jazz music in stylish cafes in the evenings. One of my cousins plays the saxophone and he also plays bass guitar in a folk metal band. I knew a really nice, polite, helpful and friendly Nigerian man in London who played the saxophone very well and would play jazz music sometimes on his sax. He moved to live with his wife and kids in the English countryside of Kent (he loves it there) after completing his university degree in computers.
