Saracens is an old-fashioned name for Moslems.

And before that, it used to refer to nomadic Arabs in ancient times.

They are dark because they have very, very minimal Steppe ancestry (NE European/Indo European) compared to pretty much all other Europeans, even less than what parts of Sicily have. There is higher Near Eastern ancestry also, but it is the lack of North European that makes the difference.

Yes. The Island Greeks are east med and arabid, while the mainland Greeks are pontid. There are even a considerable amount of baltids in mainland Greece because Greeks are very slavicized

Most Greek Med types are Atlanto-Med or Pontid, with some Gracile Med on the islands. The main difference is more Alpine, Gorid, etc. on the mainland.

Your threads just shows i am right. Maybe i was wrong about the "arabid" but i am right abou the east med. And baltid is not so uncommon in mainland, i supose, because Greece is very close to slavic countryes
