Dutch are by far the tallest Europeans

Having been to many European countries and recently to Denmark, Germany and Netherlands. I have to say the Dutch are by far the tallest Europeans. I occasionally saw freakishly tall people that were towering over me and I'm like like 6'3. In Germany and Denmark I was taller than the average person but in Holland I even saw occasionally females towering over me.

The Dutch are taller than Scandinavians as a whole, although specific Scandinavian areas could turn out just as tall, they are taller than Northern Albanians, Kosovars, Croats, Serbs, Greeks, Germans and most other Germanic countries, Polaks, Lithuanians etc. Only Montenigrins are just as tall and maybe some of the Bosniaks.

One thing I noticed is that even foreigners that grew up probably in Holland were tall or whose families have been there for generations.. which made me think it's possibly what they consume.

. I don't see what's to brag though.. many of these people with their overly tall average height look like a bunch of freaks. It's one of the few times in my life where I actually felt short.

I have been to Croatia, Bosnia , Montengro, Northern Albania, Serbia etc, Dutch are taller, only Montenigrins are as tall as the Dutch. Montenigrins by Coon were said to be the tallest Europeans.

Ok. According to some sources, the Dutch were the shortest Euros in the past but now they are the tallest, i guess its because what they consume, yes

Being tall= shorter lifespan in general.

I read articles about that.
It's indeed partially food and genetic.
Dutch had this strange natural selection during the XX°. People who were the taller had more children than the smallest one.
