    Default Assyrians: State main phenotypes

So Hadouken has done it with the Kurds. Nobody's done this before with Assyrians (and I rarely even post about us). Let's premiere it with this thread. What are main phenotypes among Assyrian people? And there's no need to classify us individually. Do us as a whole.

Very Mesopotamian faces I might add. A lot of them can pass in the Levant for me. The rest can pass for other west Asiatics excluding Iran. The guy in the 2nd last picture looks Albanian, lol.

Most look like Northern West Asians, with looks overlapping with Levantines, Armenians, Anatolians and South Euros/Balkanites mostly.

There's a lot of phenotypical variation amongst us Assyrians, I've seen so many different looking individuals

Mainly Meds, Alpines, East-Alpines and some Armenoids + some others who have a distinct Levantine look(Syrid).

Edit: The last guy look Mtebid or something.

Half of them look indistinguishable from western Armenians. The other half consists of people who look Mesopotamian, Levantine, Anatolian and South Euro.

These are Assyrians with roots from Southeastern Turkey I assume.

Ironically, that guy is one of the more typical looking older Assyrian you see at a church. His light pigmentation shouldn't deceive you. Lol.

The atypical one in the list is the guy in a snazzy suit sitting with his wife at some wedding. He's actually a politician called Ben Kalasho. He doesn't look Middle Eastern, let alone Assyrian.

What exactly is a Mesopotamian face? Lol.

Most Assyrians would pass in the Levant without any trouble as they are situated just near that region. After all, our empire stretched there and our homeland in northern Iraq and southeastern Turkey is considered to be part of the Levant at times.

That's true. Even our height differs greatly. You can find some pretty tall people, but also rather short ones. Our circle dances look pretty inconsistent and awkward because of such height contrasts. Lol.
