The Canadian government is still allowed to put "Dominion of Canada" on their stationary. In order to be a dominion of the United Kingdom, citizens and Members of Parliament must swear an oath of allegiance to the Queen. The only reason why Canada isn't still considered a British dominion is because they technically swear an oath to the Crown as "Queen of Canada" and not as the Queen of Great Britain.Originally Posted by Jolsonaro

The US would be a parliamentary constitutional democracy instead, styled after Westminster. The Queen can technically dissolve parliament and call for immediate general elections, she (her Governor-General really) did something similar in Australia in the 70s, but nowadays I don't know if Can, Aus, NZ wouldn't just try and vote to get rid of the monarchy altogether.
If the immigration patterns remained the same, I'm not sure the USA would be that much different really. Although perhaps the US would've not spread westward in this time line, Napoleon wouldn't have sold Louisiana so readily either lol
Also, they would drive on the proper side of the road and have better food

Does that mean that Canada is not a completely independent country?
So, can the British parliament control the laws of Canada?
I agree with you except in the last point the food of USA would continue being trash as it is today (of course with the vegetarian exceptions).
