He's probably about 5% but he celebrates his Anglo heritage as well. Virginians are very good about keeping records. Virginia's history is so rich. Anyone with Colonial ties to the area are more aware of their nuances culturally and otherwise.

I actually can't hate on someone for trying to include even the smaller percentages of their ancestry into their identity and finding ways to celebrate it. It's just too easy to make fun of ruddy faced pale White Americans in buckskin that cling to Indian blood (which often isn't even real) and disregard the vast majority of who their ancestors were. It's oftentimes done as a form of xenophilic desire to seem exotic and connected to the land and its Noble Savage history rather than to identify with the oppressive clumsy colonial Whites who were too stupid to even know how to use all of the buffalo.

These people should also realize that they're eventually not going to be passing on any Indian DNA at all after generations and generations marrying and having children with Europeans so eventually they're going to have to hang up the headdress and look in the mirror at their blue eyes and realize why people find them so foolish looking.
