Irish classes need major pedagogical changes if the language is to be viable. The way it is taught is dry and ineffective. I have written elsewhere on this forum about what I believe needs to be done for Irish to be revived as a language for the 21st century. I plan on traveling to Ireland one day (hopefully soon) and taking an Irish course.
