i think all Greeks and Spaniards are gonna answer british while an italian would more easily answer american tourists.

that's because the demographics of british tourists between Greece/Spain and Italy are slightly different. it seems that younger brits go to Spain and Greece while middle aged come to Italy. in Italy younger tourism is mostly americans

Well metro is useful only in some places because we only have 2 and a half lines, some places are really far from either of the two. Buses are awful all around they will make you wait at least half an hour. in the end it really depends from where you are.
