    This is a bit OT but have you got the Global25 coordinates from Davidski? There is also a tool that you can run if you don't know how to use nMonte. (you have to pay for sponsorship though). Here's the populations I'm closest to. What do you make of it?

    A lot of Jews shortened their last name to Rosen, from Rosenbaum, Rosenstein, etc. Not always Jews either.

    Bartoň - Czech lastname, sounds different than English lastname Barton, but orthographicaly is (almost) the same.
    For AEnglish speakers, who does not now diacriticval marks, it is ortographically identical with English BARTON
