Ugh. You're either a liar or an idiot.

    1) obviously I don't hate my non semitic blood
    2) as I said the Egyptians were not Semites
    3) I have never killed a Palestinian or worked for Israel although obviously I don't want it destroyed so criticisng me for it is antisemitic.
    4) as I said yah wasn't an Egyptian god. You don't listen. Silly flip. Monotheistic Judaism isn't syncreticised but if it were your religion would be based on a[nother] lie. Silly catholic, you can't criticise Judaism consistently.
    5) going academically, the Jews *are* Canaanites so it wouldn't be syncretic either way
    6) lol you have the biggest case of OOWD (off off white disorder) on this site and occasionally saying 'I'm not white' when people point it out doesn't make your OOWD any leas obvious

Wait, didn't Muslims steal your prophesied birthright from you?

    Genesis 17:3-5

3Then Abram fell facedown, and God said to him, 4“As for Me, this is My covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. 5No longer will you be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you the father of many nations...

Didn't the prophecy find fulfillment in Ishmael's line the Arabs, the Arabs have many nations...
Whereas' Jacob's line only has one current nation, Israel.

So you would side with the people who stole your birthright?

Ok, my bad. Sorry. It's good to know that you're not a murderer. Lols.

    Judaism is religiously syncretized.

The Israelites initially worshipped Yahweh alongside a variety of Canaanite gods and goddesses, including El, Asherah and Baal.[37] In the period of the Judges and the first half of the monarchy, El and Yahweh became conflated in a process of religious syncretism..

Also, the oldest references to "Yah" are found in Egypt... NOT Israel.

The oldest plausible recorded occurrence of Yahweh is as a place-name, "land of Shasu of yhw", in an Egyptian inscription from the time of Amenhotep III (1402–1363 BCE),

    5) going academically, the Jews *are* Canaanites so it wouldn't be syncretic either way
Greeks and Romans still belong to the same Indo-European language family but when their ancient Pagan gods encountered each other and they borrowed from one another, it was still a case of syncretism. I don't think Hebrews and Egyptians should be exempted just because they belong to the same culture group.

    6) lol you have the biggest case of OOWD (off off white disorder) on this site and occasionally saying 'I'm not white' when people point it out doesn't make your OOWD any leas obvious
LOLZ. Studying or learning about a culture doesn't mean one wants to a member of that culture's race. I enjoy learning about the ancient Hebrews, Romans, Greeks, Egyptians and etc. but that doesn't mean I want to be them. I'm a proud Visayan.

    I criticise Christianity not Europe.

Ok they're fellow Afroasiatics which you love claiming their achievements if it suits you and then say the opposite, that you are proud that your people waged war upon them too.
Wrong, I have never claimed their achievements. I merely point put their monotheism predates indo-euro monotheism and that if I were to claim their achievements at least they're family.

    Judaism is religiously syncretized.
Yes but as a Catholic you accept that syncreticism.

The Israelites initially worshipped Yahweh alongside a variety of Canaanite gods and goddesses, including El, Asherah and Baal.[37] In the period of the Judges and the first half of the monarchy, El and Yahweh became conflated in a process of religious syncretism..

Yes but in the bible this was heavily criticised and later expunged.

Also, the oldest references to "Yah" are found in Egypt... NOT Israel.
Misleading. They're from the Sinai which at the time was semitic not Egyptian even though it is Egyptian today.

The oldest plausible recorded occurrence of Yahweh is as a place-name, "land of Shasu of yhw", in an Egyptian inscription from the time of Amenhotep III (1402–1363 BCE),

Source: Anderson, James S. (2015). Monotheism and Yahweh's Appropriation of Baal. Bloomsbury. ISBN 9780567663962.
LOL, you think the earliest known record being the Egyptians saying 'some other people worship this dude called yhwh' makes him egyptian

    Yah is Semitic.

Greeks and Romans still belong to the same Indo-European language family but when their ancient Pagan gods encountered each other and they borrowed from one another, it was still a case of syncretism. I don't think Hebrews and Egyptians should be exempted just because they belong to the same culture group.
Fair enough, but yah was never ever Egyptian

LOLZ. Studying or learning about a culture doesn't mean one wants to a member of that culture's race. I enjoy learning about the ancient Hebrews, Romans, Greeks, Egyptians and etc. but that doesn't mean I want to be them. I'm a proud Visayan.

When did it become Egyptian? What Semitic language was spoken there before?

By the way, its arguable if we can even call it Egyptian today. The people there are Semitic-speakers not Egyptian-speakers and since the native name is Masr (as opposed to Kem), it could be said that Modern Egypt is not the cultural continuity of Ancient Egypt.

It was under Egyptian domination on and off for millennia but the inhabitants were proto-Hebrews, southern Cana'anites who spoke NW Semitic dialects and wrote them down in the proto-Sinaitic script.

Yeah the continuity between ancient and modern Egypt is sketchy but there's clearly much genetic continuation and some cultural.
